What you will learn
The course is built around what clinical programming teams actually do day to day, not academic theory.
Base SAS and data manipulation. You learn the SAS DATA step and PROC steps from the ground up — reading and importing clinical data, merging and transforming datasets, PROC SQL, and the data-cleaning techniques that every trial dataset requires.
SAS macros and automation. You build a working command of macro variables, macro programs, and iterative macro logic, so you can write reusable code that automates the repetitive programming tasks at the heart of clinical trial analysis.
CDISC SDTM and ADaM. You learn to map raw trial data to SDTM domains and derive ADaM datasets (ADSL, BDS, OCCDS) with define.xml and controlled terminology — the regulatory standards that sponsors and CROs mandate on every submission.
Statistical procedures, TLFs, and QC. You use PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TTEST, and PROC GLM to analyse trial data, generate regulatory-ready Tables, Listings, and Figures, and validate your programs through double programming and independent QC.
How the course is structured
The Clinical SAS course runs over three months in both offline (classroom) and online batches, so you can attend in person at our Wakad campus or join live from anywhere in India. Weekday-evening and weekend batches are available for working professionals, and every module is anchored by hands-on programming labs rather than lectures alone.
Faculty are practising statistical programmers and biostatisticians — not full-time academics — so you learn the coding conventions, validation discipline, and CDISC compliance expected on real sponsor projects. The final module is dedicated to validation, QC, and placement readiness: resume building, mock interviews, and mapping the right role for your degree and temperament.
